The 52 Petroushka Ball which took place on Friday the 10th of February 2017 at the Plaza Hotel was both elegant and spirited! Our guests both dinner and dancing numbered 700. Two destinguished Orchestras entertained, The Lester Lanin in the Grand Ballroom and the Barynia Balalaika in the Terrace Room.
This year as in the past 15 years stars from the Metropolitan Opera performed. Kristine Opolais and Brandon Jovanovich both presently in the opera "Rusalka" sang the most beautiful areas.
An award was presented to Dr. Igor Holodny, Chairman of the Board, for his long and dedicated service the children we serve.
All net proceeds from the Petroushka Ball go directly towards the Russian Children’s Welfare Society (RCWS) charitable programs.
