2011 RCWS Marathon Team

George Kirjanov works in pharmaceuticals industry and will be running the ING Marathon for the first time. He was drawn to the challenge a marathon represents and the satisfaction one feels upon completing it. He considers it one of the healthiest ways to push one’s body and mind past their established comfort zones.

George was born in Rhode Island and raised primarily in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, and is mostly of Russian descent. He thinks that all children deserve assistance to make their early years as healthy, fulfilling and enriching as possible. Because of his Russian background, George found RCWS particularly appealing as a charity to get involved with.
